Oh my goodness, this video is so moving and electrifying. The artist Marina Abramovic did a 2010 performance art piece at the Museum of Modern Art, where she sat in a chair, and, one by one, people could sit opposite her and look into her eyes. It was a powerful experience even with strangers, but then her former love Ulay arrived without her knowledge. This video shows the moment she sees him. Apparently they had had a passionate love affair back in the 70s, but when they felt the relationship was fizzling, they decided to walk the Great Wall of China, each from one end, meeting in the middle for a last hug and never seeing each other again. Here they are, meeting once again.

so good, it almost felt wrong watching it.
Living on a budget for the first time in a while has led me to become quite creative and frugal, especially when it comes to one of my favorite things: candles, air wicks…all things that make your house smell like home.
So today, as I was about to throw away the orange peels from my afternoon orange, I put them in a pot with cloves and cinnamon sticks to simmer for a while. End result: it smells glorious!
Growing up, when I first started learning about Jesus, one of my favorite stories in the Bible was about the lost sheep….since then I’ve had this image in my mind of a herd of sheep grazing on a hill. This past week, this image I’ve had for years became an actual, physical, captured moment. How fitting that the Lost Sheep image I’ve wanted to see forever happened during Semana Santa. #Spaincontinuestomakedreamscometrue
First official touch of sand and beach water on my sun-deprived feet. Having that water be from the Bay of Biscay made it that much more grand. Hello, Spring!
